Time for a reset

I’ve been doing this blog for a long time. As you can tell, I have been less than faithful in keeping up my posts. At this point all I am doing is my daily bible reflections. (BTW, thanks to HaitiTony and MUB for their faithful participation in this!!!) I am feeling a need for a RESET, a new start. Not sure what this will look like, or if I can maintain this. But I’m going to pray about this. Any suggestions?

  1. Thanks Tony.
Actually I needed to be reminded to look for Jesus like this.
So you are teaching me back.
What I am looking for is the heart and passion behind this blog, that can ignite me with the motivation to add the kinds of things you mention.
You are one of the motivations that have kept me going for years, and I really appreciate it.
I can honestly say I would not have kept up the discipline of daily postings if you were not there reading and responding to them.
    Yes, it’s worth it.
I just needed a reminder of this (to see Jesus in this), and to increase my passion for it.
    Thanks.

  2. It has been a great journey 🙂

I like the title of Jesus Follower for that is who I am. In addition to coming to this site and giving input I also am reading the Bible in a year via BacktotheBible. Although no comments or input can be given I glean thoughts for daily living while reading and hearing the Word of the Lord.

    Food for thought
    Keep your site active.
Redirect followers to the daily reading of Scriptures.
Add sites which do have daily devotionals such as Our Daily Bread, Today, Strength for the Journey or . . .
Those are my thoughts at this time. I will continue my morning devotions. You have taught me well. Thanks Norm. And each day I still use one of the things you taught me – Where did I see Jesus today? He is everywhere if I have but the eyes to see Him.

Have a most excellent day. Enjoy in joy.
