Pouring out the grace!

PLEASE READ THIS FIRST: Matthew 7

What do you sense the Lord saying to you in this passage?

“With the measure you use, it will be measured to you.” (Matthew 7:1)
These words of Jesus are very alarming.
If we judge others God will judge us in the same way.
If we are stingy in measuring out grace, God will be stingy with us?
Really, does our experience of grace depend on how we show it?
Once again we remember that all of this assumes generous grace.
Jesus did not come to judge us, but to save us.
Jesus did not come to measure out judgment, but to pour out grace.
When we judge others, we act as if we have the moral high ground.
Only God has that position, we all have our own issues that affect us.
And as far as we are concerned, our issues are like planks.
The other persons issues are splinters to us, and planks to them.
When we know how much grace our planks need, we see how others need it too!
I cannot judge others, not because there are no things to judge.
But because I have my own things to be judged, and that is my priority.
PRAYER
Lord Jesus, my business is not others sins but my own. Help me to realize how much grace I need poured out to me, so that I can pour that some grace to others.
