hi hennie, Papito and I are doing very well here, we are having some good adventures.  Of all the bags we had to leave at the airport, with a lot of persuation (5 hours) Papito managed to finally get his gifts and belongings for his family.  We just finished our second day of painting and tomoorow we will go to Papito,s family and being picked up by his sister…  That,s it for now.  

Hi Trish, today is very hot (29 Celcius), Papito is an excellent guy to bail us out of situations,  we got the painting done in two days so David will have to look for more places to paint, there is still six pieces of baggage at the airport so we will never likely see it again, too bad, we got all of Harold, Nick, Don and mine (Jake) thru and now Papito,s..  We were so heavy weight wise $$$$$big bucks in Toronto, just too lose it here.  The computers and cash and a fair amount of donations got through.  Tomorrow we go to La Habana for some sightseeing. 

Hello Trix & kids – things are awesome here, I cannot describe the way of life,  but it is better than I expected.  The food is really good.  There is lots of painting for the painting crew.  Weather is cool at nite & getting hotter during the day.  The days go fast and we have good help.  The worship services were alot of fun with alot of singing.  Very dark at nite – few street lites.  The cars & trucks are old and very `’smokey’  See you soon.  Owen   

The lost luggage will most lilely be donate to an organization called Freinds of Cuba  and will end up in the right hands.
