Have seen, and will see!

THE STORY OF JESUS: Acts 26:16-23
“As a witness of what you have seen and will see of me.” (Acts 26:16)
Jesus commissioned all of His disciples to be His witnesses (Acts 1:8).
A witness is someone who describes to other what they have experienced.
You cannot witness to what you have not seen or experienced.
We can only share what we have seen or experienced.
This may seem like stating the obvious, and yet do we remember this?
When others ask us about our faith in Jesus, do we share our experiences?
Do we describe how the Lord has worked in or around us?
Or are we explaining the bible, or teaching doctrines we’ve been taught?
I cannot prove any of these, but I can witness confidently to what I’ve seen.
If you have not seen or experienced much, don’t worry.
Jesus is sending us, like Paul and the others, He will speak through us.
His Spirit was given for this purpose, to use our witness, weak as it may be.
Earnestly seek to see and experience more of Jesus in your life.
Sincerely share what you have seen and experienced, and trust His Spirit to work!
What do you sense the Lord saying to you?
PRAYER
Lord, I have seen some of You at work, but I want to see more. May I see You today, and may I find the opportunity to share it with others!
