THE STORY OF JESUS: Galatians 5:22-23
“The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.” (Galatians 5:22-23)
These qualities are a helpful summary of all our God and life questions.
What is God like… think of the fruit of the Spirit.

What did Jesus save me for… think of the fruit of the Spirit.
What does God want from me… think of the fruit of the Spirit.
How can I best witness to others… think of the fruit of the Spirit.

What is the summary of the law… think of the fruit of the Spirit.
How am I to live as God’s image-bearer and child… think of the fruit of the Spirit.

“For if you possess these qualities in increasing measure, they will keep you from being ineffective and unproductive in your knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.” (2 Peter 1:8)
Nothing is stopping me (no law against these things) – except me.

PRAYER
Lord, may Your Spirit make this fruit more beautiful, more desirable to me. And may we together make this fruit more evident in me.
