Receiving His fullness

SCRIPTURE: Acts 6:1-7
“Known to be full of the Spirit and wisdom.” (Acts 6:3)
Every believer is full of the Spirit, and has the wisdom of Jesus.
But some reveal that more than others, some are ‘known’ to have them.;
In other words, while every Jesus follower has these traits, not all use them.
Stephen is especially known to be “full of faith and of the Holy Spirit.” (Acts 6:5)
What am I known for, what do people notice in me?
Jesus left us here with His Spirit and wisdom to fulfill a task.
Our specific roles may differ (ministry of word or ministry of tables), but our goals are the same.

“Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms. If anyone speaks, they should do so as one who speaks the very words of God. If anyone serves, they should do so with the strength God provides, so that in all things God may be praised through Jesus Christ. To him be the glory and the power for ever and ever. Amen.” (1 Peter 4:10-11)

Everyone is gifted, but not everyone uses these gifts for Jesus, and that is a concern in the body of Christ.
It prevents the message from spreading, disciples increasing… and hinders the glory of God and Jesus!
Jesus is pouring His fullness into you, but are you letting His fullness flow through you?
What do you sense the Lord saying to you?
PRAYER
Lord, show me where I am hindering the flow of Your Spirit. Empty me of myself, that I may overflow with You!
