By grace transformed!

SCRIPTURE: 1 Corinthians 9-10
“For I am not seeking my own good but the good of many, so that they may be saved.” (1 Corinthians 10:33)
We serve a gracious God, Who seeks the good of many, that they may be saved.
Paul was blessed by this grace, he knows he is loved, forgiven, accepted, restored.
This amazing grace has radically changed his orientation in life: his focus is on others.
He limits his own rights and freedoms so that others may be helped, saved, blessed.
Instead of pursuing self-interest and self-pleasure, he pursues the good of others – like Jesus.
Paul is showing the Corinthians that he is not a con man, a religious scam artist.
He urges them to resist the temptation to serve oneself, and to make serving others their aim.
This is not just about doing a few kind deeds, this is about changing your whole life focus.
How can I help, how can I care, how can I bless, how can I share!
Having been radically blessed by God’s amazing grace, we are eager to share it with others…
Or are we?
What do you sense the Lord saying to you?
PRAYER
Lord, we sing about ‘amazing grace’ all the time. May this message not just take over our lives, may it take over our lives!
