Jesus… as I know Him

SCRIPTURE: Acts 1:1-11
“You will be my witnesses… to the ends of the earth.” (Acts 1:8)
I witnessed an accident in grade school, along with my friend.
He saw something slightly different from me.
We both gave our statements to the police, and never heard anything again.
Maybe I was wrong, but I saw what I saw, and I told them what I saw.
The disciples did the same thing.
Their job was not to convince but to witness to what they had seen and heard.
It is up to the Holy Spirit to convince.
My testimony in the open court of the world is Jesus as I know Him.
I do not need a dramatic testimony, just to tell the whole truth… so help me God.
Everything we do (preaching, teaching, worship, serving, sharing faith, working) is witnessing.
The impact of Jesus on us shines through us, and others can see and hear, through us.
What do you sense the Lord saying to you?
PRAYER
Lord, remind me that my job is not to convince others, but to be honest with them, to tell them how You have impacted my life. May more people experience You like I have, and find new life in You!
