Observations:
Noah walked faithfully with God even though the world was full of violence.
Noah heard the voice of the Lord and did what He asked inspite what the people around may have said.
God in control and all – man and animals do His will – and He shut them in the ark.
Everything in God’s timing – God is in control – and not man.
Once again the Great Mandate to fill the earth.
God’s covenant – the rainbow – a reminder that waters will never destroy all life.
Man going contrary to the mandate – the tower of Babel – God’s way will come to pass.
The sons and daughters showing God’s faithfulness in the lineage of His people so that His will be done.
Application:
Today I too am standing on the promises of God and they cannot fail. As Noah walked and talked with His Lord, I must do the same. Today God Is First as He is every day. I must greet Him every morning and walk with Him throughout the day and rest in His presence during the night. As I live each day in His presence and in His service I need to remind myself and ask – what is God’s will for my life and then live it.
Prayer:
Help me live Your way this day Lord. Help me o be Your champion in all I do and say.
Great is thy faithfulness, O God my Father;
there is no shadow of turning with thee;
thou changest not, thy compassions, they fail not;
as thou hast been thou forever will be.
Refrain:
Great is thy faithfulness! Great is thy faithfulness!
Morning by morning new mercies I see;
all I have needed thy hand hath provided;
great is thy faithfulness, Lord, unto me!
Summer and winter and springtime and harvest,
sun, moon and stars in their courses above
join with all nature in manifold witness
to thy great faithfulness, mercy and love. Refrain
Pardon for sin and a peace that endureth
thy own dear presence to cheer and to guide;
strength for today and bright hope for tomorrow,
blessings all mine, with ten thousand beside! Refrain
