Improving Our Sound System

[May 4, 2011]
Every Sunday our sound team sets up our audio equipment for our worship services.
They have done an amazing job, especially lately as the equipment has started to show its age.
We are working with the school to upgrade our equipment and theirs, each sharing the cost of the equipment we would normally use.Doug Wildeboer, an audio equipment expert who designed a system for Hope Fellowship Church (Courtice) when they met in a school, is helping us.
That system is available to us, and we are presently considering purchasing parts of it.
To do this is well beyond our own means, but here we see how we are blessed by our partners.
The school is purchasing the speakers, which we can use every Sunday.
An anonymous partner has donated $2500 for this.
We have been approved for a $1000 Grant from the Christian Reformed Church to upgrade our sound system.
Doug is helping our team work with the system, and allowing us to use it on a trial basis.
What an amazing gift it is to be blessed and supported by a community of partners.
Decisions still need to be made on this, but we are encouraged by how the Lord is multiplying our limited resources (like the 5 loaves and 2 fish) to bless many!
