All people can experience it!

PLEASE READ THIS FIRST: Psalm 65

What do you sense the Lord saying to you in this passage?

“Where morning dawns, where evening fades, you call forth songs of joy.” (Psalm 65:8)
This song recognizes the creation grace of God for all people.
Every new day brings new reasons for joy, says David.
This is not just for a select nation, in a small part of the world.
“To you all people will come!” (65:2)
“The hope of all the ends of the earth.” (65:5)

And wherever the sun rises and sets, God is granting creation blessing!
“He causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good,
and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous.” (Matthew 5:45)

This creation blessing is one reason why all people can find God (Acts 17:25-28).
Sadly, not everyone recognizes where their life or blessings come from.
They experience the joy, but they do not know the joy-giver.
But I am encouraged that this is one way God reaches out to all people.
As long as someone is alive, God is blessing them, and calling them.
Every breathe they take, every move they make, they are moving in God’s grace.
PRAYER
Lord, your creation grace is blessing everyone. May we who see and appreciate it also help others to see and appreciate it!

  1. We depend on the Lord to provide! He gives us employment and allows us to be stewards of a portion of the earth’s resources. He is God the provider – sending the rains for our crops. God is the creator and He is: “the hope of all the ends of the earth and of the farthest seas,” When I see the beauty of many places in this world or look into the night sky – I am overwhelmed with God’s awesome creation – It is like I am i a temple and appreciating the beauty or as the Psalmist says: “We are filled with the good things of your house, of your holy temple.” The earth and its resources are there for us to care and to use to provide for ourselves – not to abuse – or overuse. We have to learn to be better stewards – and it is something that we share with everyone. As everyone starts to realize that we need to be better stewards and appreciate the cycles of resources in this world – we together can be drawn together and appreciate the creator. Lord help us as believers to be people who are at the forefront of sustainability and good stewardship of the earth’s resources – for God and for my neighbour!

  2. Every day is a day of Thanksgiving. Blessings galore.
As I approach the end of the year, I see how the Lord God has blessed me – life to serve Him, resources to bless others around me both locally and globally.
Every day is a day that the Lord has made and I need to rejoice and be glad in it. He is in control. I see that.
May others see what I see – the blessings of the Lord to me, to my children, to the world around me, to the world. He is in control. And as we stand on the threshold of the New Year, may we all journey in His SonShine, as He continues to shine showing the way we need to travel.

This is the day, this is the day.
That the Lord has made, that the Lord has made.
We will rejoice, we will rejoice,
And be glad in it, and be glad in it.
This is the day that the Lord has made.
We will rejoice and be glad in it.
This is the day, this is the day
    That the Lord has made.
    2
We are the sons, we are the sons,
Of the living God, of the living God.
We will rejoice, we will rejoice,
And be glad in Him, and be glad in Him.
We are the sons of the living God.
We will rejoice and be glad in Him.
We are the sons, we are the sons
    Of the living God.
