Grace flowing through me!

THE STORY OF JESUS: 1 Peter 3-5
“Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms.” (1 Peter 4:10)
God created and graced us to be His stewards of blessing in the world.
Through our words and deeds (4:11), we convey God’s love and mercy to others.
Humans are God’s means of grace for the world, but also a source for evil.
How I use my mouth and hands has great potential for good, or evil.
Through Jesus God rescued us from evil’s grip, and restores us for good.
He depends on us to be His means of grace in the world.
Each one of us does this uniquely, conveying grace in various forms.
Art, music and singing; cooking, leading, healing, building, etc.
Evil is still in the world, but we can help reclaim God’s garden from the weeds.
We will suffer, and it will be hard work, but it is worth it.
Every good word and deed helps God reveal and establish His kingdom of goodness.
As a Jesus follower, I am saved and called to this: to be blessing in a cursed world.
Am I using God’s gracious gifts for the glory of God and the good of others?
What do you sense the Lord saying to you?
PRAYER
Lord, You put us here to shine with goodness, to bless others with goodness. You saved me from sin and death, for goodness and life. May Your grace show through me!
