God-incidents!

SCRIPTURE: Acts 2:14-21
“And everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” (Acts 2:21, Joel 2:32)
Something dramatic has just happened, but this is not what matters.
It’s the meaning behind it: that God is reaching out to people.
Since God is invisible to us, He works through the things around us.
Miracles, dramatic occurrences and wonders, these are the signs that God is on the move.
And the goal behind it all is not the performance, but the purpose.
I call these ‘signs’ God-incidents (instead of coincidence).
Still today there are remarkable, dramatic, miraculous things that happen.
But we dismiss it, we explain it away (these people are drunk!).
God is not playing hard to get, we are playing hard to find.
Reach out to God, call on His Name, it’s that easy, He is waiting!
“And everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” (Acts 2:21, Joel 2:32)
What do you sense the Lord saying to you?
PRAYER
Lord, we’re in trouble down here, so why are we playing hard to find. Please show us more signs, that we may be shaken out of our blindness, and call out to You, and be saved.
