Another book about Jesus!

SCRIPTURE: John 21:24-25
“The whole world would not have room for the books that would be written.” (John 21:25)
How little we appreciate all that was accomplished through Jesus.
Not enough room for all the books to be written?
Like so many facets on a beautiful diamond, each reflecting the light of God’s love.
Is it any wonder Charles Wesley wished for a thousand tongues to sings Jesus’ praise?
Or as Frederick Martin Lehman put it in his hymn, “The Love of God is Greater Still”:

Could we with ink the ocean fill,
And were the skies of parchment made;
Were every stalk on earth a quill,
And every man a scribe by trade;
To write the love of God above
Would drain the ocean dry;
Nor could the scroll contain the whole,
Though stretched from sky to sky.

This is why I focus so much reading time on the stories about Jesus.
Every time I read them, I discover something new and wonderful.
As I read about Jesus, His story connects to my story.
And my life becomes another book about Jesus.
I can’t say enough, but I want to say something!
May people read about Jesus through me!
What do you sense the Lord saying to you?
PRAYER
Lord, the library of Your life will keep me busy for the rest of my life and beyond. May my life be included as one more book in the good news stories about You!
